about us

We are a small feminist press and a home for poetry written by women from all walks of life.  Born from a desire to find and nurture voices that would otherwise go unheard, we specialise in the compilation, editing and publication of collections centred on themes of womanhood.  Our bi-annual digital journal also features work from our online community of female poets, authors and illustrators from around the world.  We have a simple, one form submission process designed with busy creative women in mind, making it as easy as possible to gain that all-important first publication credit.  In a world where women writers' work still makes up just under 40% of publications*, blood moon POETRY is the place where women can be heard above the noise.
